Principal's Message

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce is an institution of eminence, established as a centre of academic excellence, ethical leadership, and inclusive growth, inspired by the teachings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. My vision is to position the college among one of the leading institutions of higher education committed to quality, innovation, and social responsibility.

In pursuit of this vision, my mission is to implement a learner-centric, outcome-based, and multidisciplinary educational ecosystem, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. I am committed to strengthening academic programmes through curriculum enrichment, flexibility in learning pathways, and integration of research, skill development, and digital competence to meet the evolving needs of students and society.

I aim to promote industry-integrated training and experiential learning by expanding industry-academia collaborations, internships, professional certifications, and entrepreneurship initiatives, thereby enhancing student employability and practical exposure. Equal emphasis is placed on nurturing critical thinking, innovation, and ethical values among learners.

My mission also includes building a strong culture of research, innovation, and continuous quality enhancement, supported by faculty development programmes, ICT-enabled teaching-learning practices, and a robust Internal Quality Assurance System.

Through participative governance, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach, I seek to ensure sustainable institutional growth and the holistic development of students. Guided by the values embedded in the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce tradition, I am committed to preparing graduates who are academically competent, socially responsible, and capable of leading positive change in a global knowledge society.
