Teaching & Assessment

One of the principle objectives of the course is to prepare students for successfully operating in and contributing to the modern world of business, as also for pursuing higher studies and advanced research in the discipline. The course curriculum integrates theoretical and practical components of study. Along with academics, a sense of responsibility towards society is also inculcated through classroom interactions. The classroom space is democratic and one in which differences in opinions are respected.

Besides the regular lectures on subjects from prominent academicians and industry experts, various activities are organized at due intervals like Group Discussion, Colloquium, Photography, Audition, Speeches, Personality Development, Mock interviews, Conferences, Meetings, Rewriting of News, House Newspapers and Journals, Preparing Interview Schedules, Questionnaire, Sampling, Experimental Survey, Web Page designing and many more. Each student would select a theme in consultation with the faculty and submit a project report based on their summer training as well as integrated course learning. Internal Mid- Semester Examinations along with Assignments, Group Discussions, Presentations are done to assess the students on various aspects of learning. Students have many opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom and complement their academic studies at SGGSCC. The teachers remain available to students at all times. They are always ready to mentor, guide and help the students.
