The Training and Placement Cell has proved its prominence as one of the most distinguished societies in the college since its inception. It has strengthened its roots through the years and attained student autonomy in the year 2011. It has proved to act as a catalyst towards the growth of the students by providing placement opportunities and training to the students from different courses to enable them to learn the skills required in tackling problems that occur in the working of an individual entity. An effort has always been made to invite companies with varied profiles to suit the requirements of the students looking for jobs in finance, accounting, marketing, sales, technical, audit, research and many more. A good number of prestigious companies visit the college for campus recruitment every year. The Cell helps the students in gaining the much needed exposure through internships. The Training and Placement Cell firmly believes in 'Industry-Institute Interaction' and accordingly, helps in grooming up the personality of the students by organizing seminars and interactive sessions. This provides a platform to the young minds to interact with professionals from various industries. So over the years the society has emerged as a guiding force for the students to gain an insight into the dynamic ways of industry and learn how to foster relationships and manage an organisation. With these initiatives The Training and Placement Cell is sure that the students placed will prosper and make their mark where ever they go.

Placement Schedule

The Training and Placement Cell works efficiently in order to tap corporate organizations through various mediums like LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms to extract the contacts.

The process of tapping the companies is recurring throughout the year which includes getting in touch with them over call and e-mail. The selection process of many companies is on similar lines, online test accompanied with GD and Interviews.

Placement Season 2018-19

This year the Cell witnessed participation of various established organizations which included Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Dell, Wipro, Ken Research, and many more. Over the course of August and September, major companies visited the campus for profiles like tax, audit, analyst among others crossing 121 offers out of the current 200+ This period also witnessed the tenure's highest paying company which was Zycus providing 6.5 LPA for the profile of a management trainee. NGOs like Feeding India and Teach for India also participated to recruit the students, who showed a genuine interest in these organizations.

The average package amounted to 4.5 lakh per annum. This year the Cell was able to attract over 12 different and attractive profiles for the students from various courses. The overall participation of the students saw an increase of about 30 percent from the previous year.
