Training & Placement Cell

The Training & Placement Cell of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce serves as a dynamic link between students and the corporate world. Established in 2005, the Cell facilitates internships and final placements across diverse domains including finance, consulting, accounting, marketing, sales and IT.

The Placement Season 2024–25 witnessed participation from 100+ reputed recruiters, with 320+ offers extended to students. The highest package reached INR 24.8 LPA, with an average CTC of INR 5.6 LPA and a median CTC of INR 5.5 LPA, while the total gross package exceeded INR 18.14 crores. The year also witnessed a 44% increase in new recruiters, with leading organizations such as D. E. Shaw & Co., Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Alvarez & Marsal and Dalberg participated in the recruitment process.

Currently, for the ongoing 2025–26 tenure, we have around 335+ offer letters, with the number expected to rise further.

The Internship Season 2024–25 also recorded strong outcomes with 110+ recruiters, offering an average stipend of INR 13K, a median stipend of INR 12K and a highest stipend of INR 35K.

Beyond placements, the Cell focuses on the holistic development of students by organising training sessions, workshops, and skill-building initiatives that enhance employability, industry awareness and professional readiness.
